How To Fill That Incomplete Void Inside Of You

‭‭Colossians‬ ‭2:8-10‬ “Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ. For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority."

Pretty straightforward and to the point. Do you feel 'incomplete'? Are you trying to fill a 'void' in your life? You CAN ONLY be 'complete' by filling yourself up with Jesus! His Holy Spirit in us, is here for us to HAVE a complete and full relationship, that's unconditional and fulfilling with Him! It's interesting, that scripture here says, "don't let anyone capture you" - capture flashes a visual of something being hunted or sought after. And we already know, as a Christian, we are prey to the enemy, here on earth. Being incomplete, is pretty lonely. On this inside, where only we see and feel it (or so we think). The feeling of being trapped, enslaved, in prison...help add to that empty, lonely feeling inside.  'The spiritual powers of this world' are at work all around us, every day! The ONLY way to navigate around this world of land-mines, tricks and traps is to follow the One True Guide!

How? By asking Him first off, every day! By putting on His full armor. By surrounding yourself with praise and worship. Both in sound and sight. Don't go looking for trouble, don't buy into the crazy thinking this world has to offer! Does what you are listening to and or watching line up with scripture? Or is it 'just a tad bit off' of truth? When we follow the worlds way of thinking and doing things, we have been 'captured' and we end up in prison and slaves to the enemy - until we break free thru our Hero Jesus and follow His truth by the Holy Spirit!
How do we know truth? How do we follow our Hero? By reading Psalms or Proverbs EVERY day! Get filled with knowledge and wisdom guided by the Holy Spirit. ASK for Him to allow the Holy Spirit to guide, lead, direct, and fill you with His Truth and wisdom. Don't be surprised when you read, and something 'jumps' out at you - FOR YOU!! Even if you've read it a hundred times! THAT IS the LIVING, BREATHING word of God!! Pretty neat!!

Today, ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes, ears, and heart to anything you've been 'captured' in, and confess to Jesus you've been held by it. Then ask Jesus to break you free, then follow what He says. I'll be praying and praising God for the revelations that He WILL BE revealing to each one of us! We are in GOOD hands! Be blessed today!

Do you feel like you are wearing a mask, and that no one REALLY sees what's going on inside? Well, true - the world around you may not see the 'truth', but Jesus does! When he was in the wilderness being tempted daily, hourly, minute by minute by the enemy - He DID experience ALL of anything we feel and endure here on earth. PLUS - when He was on the cross, He took on any and all wrongs we have ever done or will do! ALL of the wrongs done TO us in the past, today, as well as in the future! So, He DOES KNOW exactly what we are feeling. Deep inside. Secret places. So, YES!! He can and WILL help bring us up out of the empty, cold, lonely pit we may feel like we are in! We just have to ask and start moving towards Him, one step at a time. Run if you have to into His arms! He is the One that sets the captures free! Breaks the chains, and clears out the prison we feel like we are in!

Today, I am praying that you feel less empty today than yesterday. That you feel the warmth of the compassion Jesus has for you. That you see a glimpse of the unconditional love and peace that only He offers! You CAN be 'complete', really you CAN! But you cannot do it alone! You have to have Jesus in your life to guide and direct you. The relationship that you have always dreamed of - is ONLY found in Him! Be blessed today my friend!
