How To Stand Before God Without Fault
Colossians 1:22 “Yet now He has reconciled you to Himself through the death of Christ in His physical body. As a result, He has brought you into His own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before Him without a single fault."
Do you see this?!?! Do you see just how intimate God knows us? All because Jesus left heaven, became human, lived here on earth, then died a VERY HARD physical death, FOR us!! Why? So that we can come in to the presence of God, ANY time 24/7 - AND when we do, WE ARE 'holy and blameless as you stand before Him without a single fault'. Now, this does NOT give us the right to willfully on purpose sin, BUT do you see the part 'He has brought you into His own presence' - He/Jesus brought us in to His/God's presence!!
The MEF (minds eye flash) I got is of a grand palace, the Father is in His special study, and we are wanting to see Him. (Because, Jesus is our 'armor' at all times, He's with us always...) He, Jesus, doesn't check a calendar, doesn't run it past security, doesn't even hesitate - instead, takes us gently by the hand and walks us right in and up to the Father!! What?!?! And even MORE mind blowing: even tho we've come to confess something, the Royal Fathers greeting and welcoming us to Himself, is NOT showing any 'spot or blemish', which means no judgment, rejection, or harshness - NONE!! We. Are. Holy. His eagerness to 'see' us, and His inviting arms are all consuming with love, grace, mercy and acceptance.
Many times we may not 'feel' like it, but God sees us THROUGH Jesus. He doesn't see us standing in front of Him alone. Instead, it is like a filter or bubble is around us at all times. God see us through the 'covering' of Jesus - we are without fault, blameless (because He was perfect, sinless, and without fault). Wow!! Now, this is ONLY because we have Jesus as our Savior, and He lives IN us via the Holy Spirit!! Dear Sister, YOU ARE a precious treasure, an adored and dearly loved child of God!! Believe it!! Hang on to it! I'm praying you totally grab hold of this truth, and say it out loud to yourself every day! This verse is one that we can claim as truth, and even pray it back to God ANY time we are feeling hard on ourselves. Or when the "Bully" in our head shows up - this is a verse that can be used as part of our 'armor of God' and slay that Bully!! Be well today. Enjoy the welcoming arms of God with Jesus today! I'm praying for you!
