Who Do You Pray For

‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭2:1-6‬ “I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. For, There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. He gave His life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time."

     Pretty right on, as to what we are to do. Praying for our President and ALL who are in authority over us: police, judges, politicians, teachers, pastors, bosses, and if we are married - our husband. The part that jumped out to me, at the end "This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time." At just the right time. At first, I thought of 'time' as in history. But then He nudged me: 'time' as in perfect timing with ME! He met me where I was, in the middle of sin and darkness, in a pit, totally separated from God - at the PERFECT time for me to receive His gift of faith and salvation! The 'world' is us! Each and every one of us, are in our own little world when we are walking with the devil. "Just the right time" is different, personal, specific to each one of us. Isn't that amazing?!?! Isn't that great?!?! Our God is awesome and amazing!! He cares SO deeply for us, He is willing to walk with us in hell here on earth, to be exactly at our side when we reach out our hand to Him! Wow! Isaiah 41:13 tells us we have no need to fear or be afraid, because we just need to hold up our right hand, and He is there to hold it, hold us. Today, when things go 'off' or not as expected, reach up and grab Daddy's hand, He will guide you/us thru it. Also, today, when unexpected joy happens, reach up and grab His hand too - like you would in excitement and giddiness with your Beloved. I am doing Verse 1 today: praying for you and asking for His help and guidance as well as blessings towards you, AND I am thanking Him for you! I'm giving our Father thanks for YOU today! In case someone hasn't told you lately, you ARE loved and you ARE worth it!! Thank you for being YOU! I'm glad you are here!! Be blessed, be well! Have trust, belief, and faith in His timing - it really is perfect! ;-)

How To Be Rich...In Good Works

1 Timothy‬ ‭6:17-19 “Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Their trust should be in God, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment. Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with others. By doing this they will be storing up their treasure as a good foundation for the future so that they may experience true life."      What an amazing passage!! Even if we are not rich by our standards or the worlds...we CAN be 'rich in good works'! Being generous isn't always about money. It can be time, conversation, love, kindness... Remember, when we 'do to the least of these' we are doing it to/for Jesus. Today, you have the opportunity to 'experience true life' - you do!! How? What Does Twilight Look Like To You

Isaiah 21:4 (NIV) My heart falters, fear makes me tremble; the twilight I longed for has become a horror to me. This chapter contains prophecies against  Babylon ,  Edom  and  Arabia . However, this verse jumped out at me for a different reason. First of all, I had a bit of an MEF (mind’s eye flash) of sitting on a porch overlooking the vast sky towards a big open space. Watching the sun set. Actually sitting there anticipating the setting sun and all of the colors that will be painted across the sky at twilight. How amazing and beautiful the sky becomes each and every night, as God uses it to create a magnificent canvas of art for us to enjoy! I am absolutely amazed each time I see His wonderful sunsets! Then the MEF changed. These verses reminded me of the times I have lost loved ones. How that beautiful night sky became a symbol of the fear, yes even horror of the night to come. How To Avoid Meaningless Conversations

1 Timothy‬ ‭1:4-5 “Don’t let them waste their time in endless discussion of myths and spiritual pedigrees. These things only lead to meaningless speculations, which don’t help people live a life of faith in God. The purpose of my instruction is that all believers would be filled with love that comes from a pure heart, a clear conscience, and genuine faith."      Have you ever had a conversation with someone that feels like 'it's SO off track' or that leads to a debate of things that just 'don't feel right'? LISTEN to that Red Flag from the Holy Spirit! Excuse yourself, and walk away! Why? Because the enemy uses these crazy opinions & topics to dance around in your head and thoughts for days, weeks, even months ahead. Being a part of a conversation that gets so derailed from truth, is NOT good for anyone!
