Not Only Watched But Also Seen

Psalm 11:4 ”The Lord is in His holy temple; He has His throne in heaven. He watches people everywhere and knows what they are doing.

Have you ever “felt” like someone is watching you? In a crowded room, or even in an empty space – you get this ‘feeling’ that you are being watched, by someone. So you start to look around. Having to scan the people and the place with alertness. You may even have to turn your head, or your body even… Ever have that happen to you?

One of my favorite jobs was working at the Anaheim Convention Center. I did ushering and security. When I worked ‘the rafters’ I would have to wear a brown jumpsuit that matched the color of all of the metal beams and ceiling inside. Reason being, so I would ‘blend in’ and not be seen. I worked up there for big electronic shows as well as different expos for sports and such.

When I would “watch” someone, it was really interesting which people were ‘in-tune’ to being watched. They would look around. Turn. Look some more. It became a fun experiment LOL

You know that pit in the middle of your stomach that happens when you are doing something that maybe you shouldn’t be doing? Or that feeling in your chest that starts sending signals to your brain that are trying to yell “STOP” at a choice you are making? Guess what? That is God via the Holy Spirit trying to warn us of our choices and actions.

MEH (mind’s eye flash): I’m sitting over a box looking down at ants. There are 100’s of them going here and there. Some working, some resting. Several working together, others working alone. As I try and “see” each and every one of them, I can NOT do it. I lose sight of one, and then another, and then another. Pretty soon, just trying to focus on ONE is really hard to do. Then, I got a flash of how God “sees” us. He sees each and every one of those ants as individuals. Yet, He sees each one in the group all at the same time. He doesn’t have to single one out to see and watch it, but He sees it all, all at the same time, yet as individuals.

Wow! I have trouble watching 1 kid at a time at the playground. Yet to God, it is Who He is and what He does. With ALL of us! All over the world, all at the same time! Amazing! Just had a mini-flash of my friend that has 12 kids. Can she actually see each and every one of her family members in her house and what they are doing all at the same time? NO! Not unless she has security cameras set up all over, and is watching from some master video ‘room’ LOL – yet, even then, we can only focus on one screen at a time. Not God tho! He has the MASTER viewing board – His eyes! :-)

It is not a bad thing to be “watched” at all times. Not at all. Yes, it can seem creepy, if it was a person here on earth. But it is God, the One who designed and created us, so it is not so freaky. I am praying that you “feel” God’s eyes on you today. In EVERYTHING you do. Why? So, we can be in-tuned to what is pleasing and brings Him glory. As well as the things we need to change or do differently. The things that do not bring Him glory. I pray that you have ears to hear, a heart to be open, and the ability to listen. To be quick to say ‘thank You’ for the affirmations as well as quick to repent and turn from things that need to be changed. Be encouraged and not freaked out my friend. It is for our own good, for our sake of eternal life in heaven, that God is with us and sees us in all things. I am praying for those that He sees making unwise choices too. That they will be softened to hear and feel His nudging’s and then be brave to follow the Holy Spirits guidance and make wise choices. Have a GREAT day and week! Be well, be safe, and BE blessed!
