Fresh or Stinky - What Words Do You See

Boy!! God sure does have a sense of humor!! LOL

Proverbs 15:2 (NLT) The tongue of the wise makes knowledge appealing, but the mouth of a fool belches out foolishness.

I had the silliest MEF (mind’s eye flash) with this verse today!

I saw a person talking. Wise words of wisdom sharing their knowledge. As the words came out of their mouth they were like ALL of the things I find appealing! Food, places, things, people… The feeling of peace and solace were like a sweet cloud surrounding them as they spoke, and me as I listened. Truly appealing!!

Then, another person started speaking. As they spoke there was a fog or haze of sorts flowing around them. Coming out of their mouth the words were encased in the most stinky, gross, colored haze and stink! Worse than the gas from a dog! It came in waves like they were burping up the words from their intestines.

What a visual in such a short few words LOL But it actually made me think: what if we really could SEE peoples words as they spoke?!?! What would we be seeing? It sure would make following truth much easier! Well, then I guess, the enemy would have someone invent “glasses” to wear that would hide, disguise, or even alter what we were to really see. Hmmm – I guess the only real answer is to READ the bible for ourselves and KNOW the truth when we see it and hear it ;-)

I am praying today, that the Lord give you a vision of the words you are saying towards others as well as the words being said to you. That you will “see” truth along with hearing it. ‘You will know it when you see it’ as the old saying goes. Well, if you actually need to “see” a fog when someone is giving you a false line, then I pray the Lord gives you that to see. If you need to see the sweet aroma of truth when someone is speaking, then I pray you see that as well. Have a GREAT day!! Be well, be safe, and most of I pray you are blessed!!
