Color-Blindness – Better Than X-Ray Vision


What if our eyes “saw” the truth around us?! What if we were not blinded by the darkness of fear, sin and doubt?!

Psalm 139:11-12  “I could ask the darkness to hide me and the light around me to be night – but even in darkness I cannot hide from You. To You the night shines as bright as day. Darkness and light are the same to You.”

Wow! At first I was thinking of x-ray vision, but this is WAY better than that! This is like color-blindness. God isn’t ‘in the dark’ about us and our life. He cares SO much for us and loves us SO much, that He sees EVERYTHING! No matter the time of day – it is all “light” to Him.

Jesus walked in the Light of the Holy Spirit while He was here. He gave us the gift of the Holy Spirit, so we too can do the same. Yeah, we are not always very good at it – but hey! – we are not ever gonna be perfect. However, we CAN always make progress towards living as Jesus did.

The thing about darkness, it is the time and place when the enemy lies to us. Pulls the wool over eyes so to speak. When we “think” we are being sly or secretive… our Father sees it all. Nothing is hidden from His sight. Nothing.

The MSG says “at night I am immersed in the light” WOW! The MEF (mind’s eye flash) I got with that is like floating in the brightest light cast from any spotlight ever! With it all around, no shadows anywhere, just brightness.

You see, God cares SO much for us that even though He knows everything about us, He is willing to involve Himself in those things that He knows and cares about. Us! Our life. Pretty awesome!

I pray for you today, that you see, feel and even hear the “light” around you. Even if you are in a dark place, the light of Jesus CAN break through. He is not fooled by the darkness, nor is He afraid of it. He ‘breaks’ it instead! Better yet, He pierces it through and through! I am praying that if there is anything holding you back from truly growing in your relationship with Jesus, that you ask the Holy Spirit to break the darkness of those fears and or lies, and that He show you the light of Christ! Be safe, be well, and BE blessed BIG time!!

How To Be Rich...In Good Works

1 Timothy‬ ‭6:17-19 “Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Their trust should be in God, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment. Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with others. By doing this they will be storing up their treasure as a good foundation for the future so that they may experience true life."      What an amazing passage!! Even if we are not rich by our standards or the worlds...we CAN be 'rich in good works'! Being generous isn't always about money. It can be time, conversation, love, kindness... Remember, when we 'do to the least of these' we are doing it to/for Jesus. Today, you have the opportunity to 'experience true life' - you do!! How? What Does Twilight Look Like To You

Isaiah 21:4 (NIV) My heart falters, fear makes me tremble; the twilight I longed for has become a horror to me. This chapter contains prophecies against  Babylon ,  Edom  and  Arabia . However, this verse jumped out at me for a different reason. First of all, I had a bit of an MEF (mind’s eye flash) of sitting on a porch overlooking the vast sky towards a big open space. Watching the sun set. Actually sitting there anticipating the setting sun and all of the colors that will be painted across the sky at twilight. How amazing and beautiful the sky becomes each and every night, as God uses it to create a magnificent canvas of art for us to enjoy! I am absolutely amazed each time I see His wonderful sunsets! Then the MEF changed. These verses reminded me of the times I have lost loved ones. How that beautiful night sky became a symbol of the fear, yes even horror of the night to come. How To Avoid Meaningless Conversations

1 Timothy‬ ‭1:4-5 “Don’t let them waste their time in endless discussion of myths and spiritual pedigrees. These things only lead to meaningless speculations, which don’t help people live a life of faith in God. The purpose of my instruction is that all believers would be filled with love that comes from a pure heart, a clear conscience, and genuine faith."      Have you ever had a conversation with someone that feels like 'it's SO off track' or that leads to a debate of things that just 'don't feel right'? LISTEN to that Red Flag from the Holy Spirit! Excuse yourself, and walk away! Why? Because the enemy uses these crazy opinions & topics to dance around in your head and thoughts for days, weeks, even months ahead.
