The Right Place At The Right Time

Have you ever JUST utter a prayer under your breath, and the VERY next person you talk to says EXACTLY what you were praying about?!

Proverbs 15:22-23 TPT (The Passion Translation)
22 Your plans will fall apart right in front of you if you fail to get good advice. But if you first seek out multiple counselors, you’ll watch your plans succeed.
23 Everyone enjoys giving great advice. But how delightful it is to say the right thing at the right time!

I LOVE how the Lord works things out for us! He is SO creative! These two verses go flip-flop in my head. When we get advice, it is because we are seeking advice. Verse 22 also is a reminder, that when “we think” we have a ‘plan’, we need to actually seek the advice of others and not just run all willy-nilly into something without wise counsel. This is in ALL areas of life really lol

Unfortunately, most of us are “stand alone” type people. We don’t want to “bother” others with our concerns. Or, we are afraid of failure, so we don’t seek out advice. Then, there is the ‘know-it-all’ way of thinking – and that is when we think we know the right thing and way, and don’t want others’ useless opinions. Tragedy!

Over and over again the bible is clear about getting the wise counsel of MORE than one person (which could be yourself lol). That it is always best to get at least three. When we have something we are choosing to do, and we need counsel, we try and get the advice from not only three different sources, but three different age categories too. Of course, we pray first asking God to lead us to and bless us with being able to “hear” their counsel. Then as God is preparing both us and them – we start going down a person list in our head, and the ones that POP, are the ones we ask. Sometimes they are believers and sometimes they are not, it is a mixture of wise counsel. Why? Because God can make all things work together for our good when we trust Him and the people He puts in our path.

I pray that today, if you have something pressing on your heart – that you first pray for God to guide and direct both you and the people you are to talk with. Then allow your heart to be open to the people He impresses upon it.

Thank You Father, for always looking out for our best interest. I thank You Papa for speaking directly to us and to others as well. Daddy, I pray in the name of Jesus, that You open our ears, heart and mind to be receptive to those that You Holy Spirit will bring into our day. Thank You – amen.

God have an awesome day! Be well, be safe and BE blessed!! Love ya!
