Let It Go!

Psalms‬ ‭32:1-5‬ ‭NLT “Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is put out of sight! Yes, what joy for those whose record the Lord has cleared of guilt, whose lives are lived in complete honesty! When I refused to confess my sin, my body wasted away, and I groaned all day long. Day and night Your hand of discipline was heavy on me. My strength evaporated like water in the summer heat. Finally, I confessed all my sins to You and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.” And You forgave me! All my guilt is gone.”

Oh what joy it is!! For those who put their hope & trust in Jesus Christ our Lord - Salvation is our gift. Our verdict in a court of law = Not Guilty! Because He paid our debt! He freed us from our sin & punishment for our sins. He traded places with us! At the end of our life, in the moment we stand before God, to see Him look for our name in the Book of Life - at that second, when our destiny & future should be condemnation, punishment, and separation - instead, we are welcomed with BIG HUGE open arms!
Do you see, according to these verses above - when we make a choice to NOT listen to the nudging of God thru the Holy Spirit, we can become ill. Groaning all day & night. Our strength will start fading as well. Feeling the hand of discipline. Well, that can all be lifted, and start to fade away. How?! By going to God with a sincere heart, asking for His forgiveness and spell out each & everything you did wrong. Then, He WILL restore your soul! He WILL give you joy way deep inside, that won't have any explanation. He WILL forgive you! When we are completely honest with God, He restores us! He forgives us! ALL of our guilt & shame...GONE!

Today, I pray that you come clean with anything you may have been trying to 'hide' from God (or yourself), and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal/show you anything you do need to bring before God. Then believe Him, and confess it. Let it go! Don't refuse to confess something, it only hurts "you". I'm praying you accept His 'clean slate' He has ready for you today! Know, that nothing is too big or too bad - and nothing big too little or small - He cares about it ALL!! He loves you. He is waiting for you. Be well & blessed today!
