Who Do You Want To See Change

Matthew 5: 43-45 (NLT) 43 “You have heard the law that says, ‘Love your neighbor’ and hate your enemy. 44 But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! 45 In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For He gives His sunlight to both the evil and the good, and He sends rain on the just and the unjust alike.

These verses made me think of how people “change” when we start to pray for them differently. Then, when we start to pray for them and they seem to ‘change’ we (I) start to see good and positive things about them. We start seeing the “good” in them, the honorable things, the blessings. This can happen in ALL areas of our lives, if we put into practice this principle: pray for those people that seem against us; look for positive in them; praise God for these people. We can do this for our work, school, home-life…. Towards anyone or in any situation in our lives, we can put these into practice, and feel SO much better for it! It really DOES work!! The more we focus on praying for someone, the more we see their goodness. Let God be the One who judges and brings justice towards others. We just need to do what He has called us to do: pray for others. Our friends and our enemies. I'm praying for you today! May you be surrounded by blessing from God! Be well, be safe.
