A Full House Is Coming

Psalm 113:9 “He settles the childless woman in her home as a happy mother of children. Praise the Lord.”

All of Psalm 113 is pretty much praising God and how we are to praise Him. Then there are a few verses that share how some people will be blessed: the poor, the needy, and the childless.

Now I don’t know how He will do verse 9, but I believe with all of my heart that He will do this! I believe that our “home” is our eternal home in heaven. The place we are all seeking to go to one day. I believe that ALL of the women that are childless here on earth, when they get ‘home’ they will be a ‘mother to many’! I also believe, that a woman here on earth can be blessed like this too. Kind of like our pastor honored ALL women on Mother’s Day this year. Because every woman has the opportunity to be a “someone” to someone. Either as an aunt, sister, cousin, friend, mentor and in so many other ways to influence those around us. The word ‘step-mom’ just came to mind. WE ALL have the opportunity to be a ‘step___’ to others. As women our influence is pretty darn important to those around us in the world.

Gosh! Strange thought just popped in my head! The mother of someone that has chosen to follow evil instead of good. Oh the heart ache she must feel! Oh the wonder and questions of ‘what she did or didn’t do’… Oh goodness! However, those of us who are Gods children, adopted into His family – will be the mother of many ‘adopted’ children as well. Can you picture the joy of a woman in her heavenly home with lots of children around her?!?! I can! There will be a LOT of children young and old, that will not have their mothers in heaven (due to their mothers own choices), so someone will be picking up that role – and I believe it will be all of the women that did not have children here on earth. What a beautiful “FULL Home” they will have! Kind of like foster and adoptive women do today.

My feelings and words for you today, if you are someone that doesn't have any earthly children of your own here – you CAN be the ‘mother’ of influence to someone around you. Right now. Today. It can be in your own family, at your work place, even in your neighborhood. I pray that the Lord guides and directs you to someone that needs a ‘woman’s touch’ and that you can be that woman for them! ;-) I believe that here on earth as well as in heaven – we WILL be women of MANY children and surrounded by the motherless – which will lead to homes FILLED with happiness and joy! Praise God for however He is working that out in your life today – He is the GREAT giver of life to us! Accept it. Be well today. Be safe in all you do. And be blessed BIG time!
