Curses Towards You – Talk To The Hand


Do you cringe when you do something by accident and someone curses at you or flips you off?

Proverbs 26:2
NLT – Like a fluttering sparrow or a darting swallow, an undeserved curse will not land on its intended victim.

GNB – Curses cannot hurt you unless you deserve them. They are like birds that fly by and never light.

According to the Lord, His promise in His word says, that people can curse at us all they want – and if we are undeserving of it – they won’t stick! Well, now, that is VERY comforting to me!

Even have someone cure at you. About you? Even in your direction? Hurts right?! Sometimes shocking, sometimes devastating – and yet other times it’s like water running off a ducks back. Do NOT let the enemy help in throwing darts at you! You are a child of God, a princess or prince! You HAVE the full armor to protect you! You do NOT deserve curses towards you – SO, they cannot hurt you. They won’t stick! “I’m rubber you’re glue…” well, this is where it actually fits! When we are in line with, in a good relationship with, fellowshipping with Jesus – we don’t deserve curses. Luke 10:5-6 tells us to bless a home before we enter it. If the people that live there are worth, it will stick, if not – then the blessing will come back on to you. Sort of like “I’m rubber you’re glue…” in reverse! J

Please, precious friend, remember God’s word here: “curses cannot hurt you unless you deserve them” – and do NOT believe the enemy when he throws extra darts your way with negative self-talk in your head!! You have the whole armor of God in Ephesians 6:14-17 – the shield of faith is what puts out the flaming arrows shot by the evil one towards us.

Today, when anyone curses at you, remember the truth “you do not deserve it, and it cannot hurt you” and remember, your shield of faith is the rubber that will bounce it off you and back on to them. The same is true in reverse: if you curse someone, instead of giving it to God to deal with, and they don’t deserve it, it will bounce back on you L - so NO cursing today – give people blessings instead!!

When someone curses your way, SOF (shield of faith) them with your hand up, like “talk to the hand” – and your SOF (shield of faith) will bounce those curses right back in their direction.

How To Be Rich...In Good Works

1 Timothy‬ ‭6:17-19 “Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Their trust should be in God, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment. Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with others. By doing this they will be storing up their treasure as a good foundation for the future so that they may experience true life."      What an amazing passage!! Even if we are not rich by our standards or the worlds...we CAN be 'rich in good works'! Being generous isn't always about money. It can be time, conversation, love, kindness... How To Fill Your Home With Treasures

Proverbs‬ ‭24:3-4‬ ‭NLT‬‬ "A house is built by wisdom and becomes strong through good sense. Through knowledge its rooms are filled with all sorts of precious riches and valuables." What a beautiful MEF (minds eye flash) I had reading these verses. Looking at a piece of land, where a house is going to be built. It is bare, nothing there. Then all of a sudden, there is a foundation. However, the foundation has 'words' all over it! Words and sayings with phrases that are good and wise: foresight, experience, caution, knowledge, balance, learning.... Then there is a person, bent over, smoothing out the last bit of cement, and His name is Wisdom. I can just tell. It exudes from Him without Him even saying a word. What Does Twilight Look Like To You

Isaiah 21:4 (NIV) My heart falters, fear makes me tremble; the twilight I longed for has become a horror to me. This chapter contains prophecies against  Babylon ,  Edom  and  Arabia . However, this verse jumped out at me for a different reason. First of all, I had a bit of an MEF (mind’s eye flash) of sitting on a porch overlooking the vast sky towards a big open space. Watching the sun set. Actually sitting there anticipating the setting sun and all of the colors that will be painted across the sky at twilight. How amazing and beautiful the sky becomes each and every night, as God uses it to create a magnificent canvas of art for us to enjoy! I am absolutely amazed each time I see His wonderful sunsets! Then the MEF changed. These verses reminded me of the times I have lost loved ones. How that beautiful night sky became a symbol of the fear, yes even horror of the night to come. Proverbs 17:1 (NASB) “ Better is a dry morsel and quietness with it than a house full of feasting with strife. ” What is it like at your dinner table? Do you even sit at the table together as a family? Sadly, most of us have gotten out of this amazing habit. Instead, we are eating either in front of the TV or at a computer. No real conversations with other people. How about the table when it is a holiday? When you are gathering family members for the day, or even just a few hours, what are the conversations like when it is time to eat? Do you sit down together at one big table, or at smaller ‘groupings’ of tables? Do you all just pick a spot and eat off your lap? What are the conversations that go on at these gatherings?
